To enhance the sense of gratitude, dedication and social responsibility, Bluestar Dongda organized the Youth League members to participate in voluntary blood donation activities on May 4th Youth Day. They would dedicate their love and power to our society by practical actions. According the statistics, 105 members participated in this activity and donated blood 42000 milliliters totally.
The activity was first proposed by PPG Factory, and then Company Union, Youth League Committee, Planning Department, Supervision and Audit Department and Administration Department planned and carried it out together. On that day, Zibo Central Blood Station sent a special car for blood collection. Meanwhile, the volunteers of Zibo Non-remunerated Blood Donation Volunteer Service helped the donators to register, do medical examination, take their blood pressure and test blood type, and told them the attentions after blood donation carefully.
The majorities of youth have responded positively to this activity. Participants said, “Blood donation is a kind of gorgeous social work to pass love and save lives, as well as the specific performance to create harmonious society. It is the responsibility and obligation of every healthy citizen at the right age. Having taking part in this activity, we will continue to donate blood to devote our love to the society. ”
From this activity, donators has interpreted that people in Dongda are brave to shoulder their responsibilities and willing to sacrifice through their actions. Furthermore, it is also showed that there is a strong sense of social responsibility and enthusiasm to participate in social welfare among people in Dongda.
