China Chemical Group ranks 144th in the Fortune World Top 500 list published on July 22, up 23 places from 2018. This is the group's nine consecutive years into the world's top 500 list, and year by year to improve the ranking.
In terms of quantity, 129 of the world's largest 500 enterprises came from China, surpassing the United States for the first time in history (121). Even if Taiwan's enterprises are not counted, there are 119 Chinese enterprises (including those in Hong Kong), which are comparable to those in the United States. For the first time, the number of large Chinese companies is equal to that in the United States. This is a historic change.
