As summer scorches on with waves of sweltering heat, the persistent high temperatures pose a severe "heat test" for employees sticking to their posts on the frontline. To effectively implement summer heatstroke prevention and cooling measures and safeguard employees’ health, the Labor Union of Sinochem Dongda took swift action, launching a comprehensive "Coolness Delivery" campaign. It turned thoughtful care into a refreshing breeze, reaching every employee who remains committed to their duties.

The company has always prioritized employee health. Before the arrival of high-temperature weather, it uniformly provided heatstroke prevention supplies such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Water (a traditional Chinese medicine for heatstroke), cooling oil, and heat-relief tea, building a solid health defense from the source. As the "Sanfu" period (the hottest days of summer in China) approached, the company further gave each employee summer "must-haves" like cooling patches and ice-feel towels, allowing everyone to relieve heat whenever needed. Additionally, the company prepared sweet watermelons and thirst-quenching salt soda for employees, timely replenishing their moisture and electrolytes, and fortifying the health defense through meticulous care.

Meanwhile, all teams at the Polyether Plant actively responded by refining heat prevention measures based on their actual job requirements: They organized special training on heatstroke prevention, combining theoretical explanations with emergency drills to ensure employees master skills such as heatstroke identification and on-site handling proficiently. Team leaders persisted in inquiring about each employee’s physical condition one by one during the daily pre-shift meeting, resolutely preventing anyone from working while unwell. They also arranged work hours scientifically, set fixed rest periods, and arranged for employees to take turns resting in air-conditioned rooms to recover their strength, ensuring everyone can work in good condition.

"The company protects our health, and we protect production and equipment," frontline employees said one after another. They vowed to translate this care into work motivation, stay committed to their posts, fulfill their responsibilities, and ensure safe and stable production through practical actions.
